About Emily
Emily Reed is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida, military spouse, and lifelong member of the military community. As both an “Army Brat” and a military spouse of more than 10 years, Emily understands firsthand the challenges that can come with deployments, reintegration, frequent moves, changing environments, and the many transitions military families face. Her own experiences living in Japan, Italy, and Florida have shaped her compassionate and practical approach to counseling.
Emily earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees from Troy University and has completed Level 1 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. She works with individuals, couples, and families facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Her goal is to provide a safe, supportive space built on trust, empathy, respect, and collaboration, helping each client develop the tools and confidence needed to move forward.
